Overview

Aprisio’s ‘Global Tasting Tour’ Cook Along Masterclass - Indian Edition marks the next chapter of our Food & Beverage property - 'Global Tasting Tour' - evolving from curated tastings to immersive, participatory learning. Following the success of the ‘Global Tasting Tour’ Mediterranean Edit in July 2025, this edition brings the spotlight home to Indian cuisine, through a deeply hands-on, cook along masterclass. Hosted at the purpose-built Slurp Cooking Studio, Indiranagar, the experience blends technique, tradition, and togetherness, inviting guests to not just taste Indian food, but to cook it, understand it, and share it.


The Idea

Indian cuisine is often celebrated but rarely experienced from the inside. This masterclass is designed to demystify everyday techniques, ingredients, and processes that define Indian cooking. Rather than watching chefs cook, guests become active participants - chopping, sautéing, tasting, adjusting, and plating - guided by expert instruction. The experience transforms cooking into a communal ritual, where learning unfolds through doing and bonding happens naturally around the kitchen counter.


The Space

Slurp Cooking Studio is a thoughtfully designed live-cooking space with both indoor and outdoor areas, making it ideal for collaborative culinary experiences. The layout allows guests to move freely between stations, observe techniques up close, and engage with the chefs in real time. The environment supports both focused learning and relaxed social interaction, creating an atmosphere that feels professional yet welcoming.


The Curator

The masterclass is led by Chef Sarabjeet Singh, who is a graduate in Hotel Management from Christ University. He started working with the Taj group of hotels, Bangalore as a kitchen management trainee. After a year, he moved to Miami, where he worked at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point resort for 2 years. Upon his return to Bangalore, he co-founded the BBQ Story which eventually led to the development of Slurp Cooking Studio. With his deep understanding of Indian cuisine and hands-on teaching approach, Sarabjeet will bring clarity, warmth, and structure to the experience. His focus is on practical techniques, intuitive cooking, and empowering participants to recreate dishes confidently in their own kitchens. He will be joined by Chef Faseeulla who will be assisting him in this experience.


The Experience

Guests are involved at every stage of the culinary process - from preparation to plating. Cutting, chopping, mixing, boiling, frying, sautéing, garnishing, and final presentation are all shared tasks. This collective effort not only enhances learning but also fosters collaboration and conversation. Once the cooking is complete, guests sit down together to enjoy the dishes they have prepared, closing the evening with a shared meal that celebrates effort, flavour, and community.

At Aprisio, we curate intimate, limited-capacity experiences that require meticulous planning and coordination. We request all attendees to please read the cancellation and refund policy carefully before confirming their participation for any Aprisio experience. 1. No Refund on Cancellations for Personal Reasons: All tickets purchased are non-refundable even in cases of cancellation due to personal reasons including but not limited to: Change in personal plans; Scheduling conflicts; Illness; travel issues; No-show at the experience. We encourage you to review your schedule before purchasing the ticket, as your seat is reserved specifically for you. 2. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the rare event that Aprisio needs to cancel or reschedule the experience due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, government restrictions, weather conditions, venue unavailability etc.), we will notify ticket holders at the earliest. You will be provided with either a full refund, or the option to carry forward your ticket to the rescheduled date or any upcoming Aprisio experience of equal value. 3. Ticket Transfer (Case-by-Case Basis): While tickets are non-transferable, we may consider transfer requests on a case-by-case basis, provided: The request is made at least 72 hours prior to the experience, and the replacement attendee meets the community guidelines of Aprisio (has signed up on the Aprisio website and agrees to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Aprisio). Force Majeure: Aprisio shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, curfews, political unrest, or public health emergencies.
