Aprisio ‘The Long Table’ Garden Tea Soiree is an intimate early-evening community gathering that reimagines Aprisio’s much-loved Supper Table format 'The Long Table' in a lighter, more open setting. Hosted at the home garden of Aprisio member Smita, this edition shifts from a multi-course dinner and brings people together in a garden over tea and thoughtfully curated eats. The experience retains the soul of Aprisio’s ‘The Long Table’ - connection, conversation, and belonging, while opening its doors to a larger cross-section of the Aprisio community.
At its heart, Aprisio’s ‘The Long Table’ has always been about creating space - physical and emotional - for unhurried conversations. The 'Garden Tea Soiree' builds on that foundation while allowing the format to evolve. By removing the constraints of formal dining and fixed seating, the experience becomes more fluid, social, and accessible. Guests are free to move, mingle, and connect organically, making it ideal as an Aprisio Community Meetup.
Aprisio's ‘The Long Table’ Garden Tea Soiree is less about what’s on the table and more about who gathers around it. A gentle, welcoming pause in the early evening in a garden - where conversations flow easily, new connections form, and the community feels a little more like home.
About Smita
Smita Agrawal wears many hats and one is that of a Tea Sommelier. After a gratifying stint as an Investment Banking Consultant (& a lover of dance, music, singing, poker) and living in multiple countries (US, UK, Japan, Australia), she now lives in Bangalore and is an entrepreneur running a Tea brand & pop-up café called 'Unchi Wali Chai' & 'Shef Society'. She is socially (hyper) active & connected and a member of multiple wine and food clubs in the city.
To make Tea more than a beverage you drink in the morning to wake yourself up, Aprisio's 'The Long Table' Garden Tea Soiree feat. 'Unchi Wali Chai' is a meditative experience that brings people together over tea. We'll learn how to taste and appreciate tea all while having a lot of fun with fellow tea aficionados and making new connections in the process.

At Aprisio, we curate intimate, limited-capacity experiences that require meticulous planning and coordination. We request all attendees to please read the cancellation and refund policy carefully before confirming their participation for any Aprisio experience. 1. No Refund on Cancellations for Personal Reasons All tickets purchased are non-refundable even in cases of cancellation due to personal reasons including, but not limited to: Change in personal plans; Scheduling conflicts; Illness; travel issues; No-show at the experience. We encourage you to review your schedule before purchasing the ticket, as your seat is reserved specifically for you. 2. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling In the rare event that Aprisio needs to cancel or reschedule the experience due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, government restrictions, weather conditions, venue unavailability etc.), we will notify ticket holders at the earliest. You will be provided with either a full refund, or the option to carry forward your ticket to the rescheduled date or any upcoming Aprisio experience of equal value. 3. Ticket Transfer (Case-by-Case Basis) While tickets are non-transferable, we may consider transfer requests on a case-by-case basis, provided: The request is made at least 72 hours prior to the experience, and the replacement attendee meets the community guidelines of Aprisio (has signed up on the Aprisio website and agrees to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Aprisio). Force Majeure Aprisio shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, curfews, political unrest, or public health emergencies.
