The Concept

Tunes & Tales is an Aprisio experience featuring Kalyan Sabareeshan - a Bangalore-based artist who is, in equal measure, a guitarist and a close-up magician. The evening brings both together in a single 90-minute set designed to surprise, engage, and linger.

The Experience

Act 1 - Music (30 minutes)

Kalyan opens with a live guitar set, covering tracks from iconic bands and solo artists across multiple languages - English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil & Kannada. Acoustic, intimate, performed with a mic and sound system.

Act 2 - Magic (30 minutes)

Guests gather around a table for a close-up card magic show - not stage magic, but the kind that happens inches from your hands: precise, interactive, and genuinely hard to explain.

Interval - Snacks & Coffee (15 minutes)

A short break with snacks and coffee.

Act 3 - Music (30 minutes)

Kalyan returns to close the evening with a second live set.

About the Host

Kalyan Sabareeshan is a Bangalore based artist pursuing his love for performing up-close magic & live music. Before this he spent a decade working in Corporate for the most part in a leadership role for an American OEM based in India.

Over the last 3 years he has been the founder & performer of Kalyan Sabareeshan Magic through which he offers an intimate, interactive & up-close magic experience to people at workspaces, corporate events, private parties, 5-star hotels, pubs & carnivals.

In 2024 he started hosting a first of its kind monthly ticketed event in Bangalore, where he performs both Magic & Music in an intimate space called 'The Magic & Music Experience'.

He has performed across Bangalore and also in other cities like Mysore, Chennai, Delhi & Nepal!

Since 2023 he has performed over 100 shows and catered to thousands of people at private events and for Corporates like Google, AirBnB, SAP & Unisys.
