Aprisio's 'The Long Table' Supper Club is a recurring, community dining experience that celebrates the joy of food, connection, and culture. This unique format brings together the warmth and intimacy of a home-cooked meal with the curated, structured elegance of a premium dining experience.
An Aprisio member opens their home and their kitchen to a small group of guests, turning a meal into a memory. Every edition is shaped by the host: their cuisine, their story, their hospitality.
This August, the series travels to the Malnad - the lush, forested stretch of the Western Ghats that has given Karnataka one of its most distinctive and least-celebrated culinary traditions. Ayesha, an Aprisio member with deep roots in the Malnad region, will put together a five-course dinner for a table of eight. Expect earthy, bold flavours - slow-cooked curries, foraged ingredients, coconut in every form - the kind of food that rarely makes it to restaurant menus but has been passed down through generations.
Seats are capped at eight. This is as intimate as it gets.
Guests arrive at the host’s home and are welcomed at a warmly set table.
Welcome & Context (7:00 PM) - The host introduces themselves, welcomes the guests, and the welcome drink is served.
Communal Dining (7:15-9:30 PM) - The host introduces the cuisine and the story behind their curated menu. All guests share the curated meal, course by course, around a uniform table setup.
Closing & Reflection (9:30-10:00 PM) - Dessert and casual conversation, allowing members to connect more deeply.
Over three hours, Ayesha will serve a five-course Malnad meal - each dish introduced with a short story about its origin, the ingredient, or the memory behind it. The evening moves at its own unhurried pace, with good conversation woven naturally into every course.
1-2 non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
Ayesha is an Aprisio member who grew up in the Malnad region and has spent years refining these recipes in her own kitchen. Aprisio's 'The Long Table' - Malnad Edition is her way of sharing a cuisine she loves with people who will appreciate it.
