Immerse yourself in the world of tea with Aprisio’s ‘The Tea Odyssey’, a one-of-a-kind experience facilitated by Aravinda Anantharaman, writer of the beloved ‘Tea Nanny’ fortnightly column in Mint Lounge. This intimate session, hosted with our Venue Partner Samagata Foundation and our Fresh Produce Partner Spudnik Farms, will explore five unique teas from all around the world, each with a rich origin story, distinct brewing method and utensils, the myths and stories around these teas and thoughtfully paired culinary delights.

From the audacious history of Indian chai to the whimsical tales of Chinese oolong, this experience is designed to introduce and enlighten you on where tea comes from and how you can enjoy them to the fullest. Each participant will receive a goody bag with tea samples, literature, and tea-related keepsakes to continue their tea journey at home.

About Aravinda

Aravinda Anantharaman is a celebrated chronicler of teas and an avid storyteller on all things tea. She edited and published ‘Still Steeping’, a brand blog, and covered the Indian tea industry for World Tea News, STiR Tea and Coffee and Tea Biz. She was Editor of Tea Journey (2022-23) and continues to write on tea, as a fortnightly columnist for Mint Lounge (2019-present). With a deep passion for tea’s cultural and historical significance, Aravinda brings her expertise and warmth to create memorable experiences. Drawing from her extensive knowledge and love for storytelling, she introduces guests to teas that are as diverse as their origins, paired with narratives that bring each sip to life.
